Common Questions
How long does a tub cut take?
Most tub cuts are installed in about one day. Afterward the adhesive needs time to fully cure before the tub is used. We'll tell you exactly how long when we visit, so you can plan your showers around it.
Can I still take baths?
Yes, with the optional convertible insert. It has a removable, watertight center piece: take it out to step through for a shower, or lock it in place to fill the tub for a full bath. A standard tub cut is step-through only, for showering.
Will it match my tub?
CleanCut inserts come in white and beige, the most common tub colors. We'll check your tub's color during the on-site visit and recommend the closest match.
Will it work with my type of tub?
Per CleanCut, their products install on most tub types, including fiberglass, steel, acrylic and cast iron. Every bathroom is a little different, so we confirm it's a good fit during your free on-site look before any work begins.
